Lodgify + Calensi: much more than an iCal sync

Until now, you could already connect Lodgify to Calensi through iCal calendars. But that method required copying a link for every property, only carried limited information, and depended on periodic calendar refreshes.

The new Lodgify connector for Calensi works on a different scale: connect your account once, import your entire portfolio, and receive booking changes in real time. Each stay can then feed your housekeeping schedule automatically, without recreating properties or configuring calendars one by one.

For a property management company, this is not simply another way to display the same dates. It is the move from a calendar feed to a direct connection between your PMS and the tool that runs field operations.

What the API connection changes compared with iCal

iCal remains a simple, universal solution. It works well for connecting an occasional calendar, but it was designed to share occupied periods—not to synchronize an entire property management operation.

With the Lodgify connector:

• one connection gives access to all properties in the account instead of adding one iCal URL per property;
• properties can be imported in bulk, together with the information available in Lodgify;
• actual bookings are retrieved, including their status, source channel, and more operational details;
• Lodgify sends changes as they happen, instead of waiting for the next scheduled iCal refresh;
• turnovers are more reliable, especially for back-to-back stays, because the API sends separate bookings where some iCal feeds only expose one continuous blocked period.

iCal imports a calendar. The API connection imports a portfolio and keeps its operational bookings up to date.

Import every Lodgify property in a few clicks

Adopting a new tool often starts with the same tedious task: recreating every property manually. Names, addresses, photos, capacity, bedrooms—across dozens of listings, this quickly becomes slow and error-prone.

Calensi retrieves the properties available in your Lodgify account. You can then import missing properties in bulk, link a Lodgify property to one that already exists in Calensi, and reuse available details such as the name, address, photo, capacity, and property characteristics.

You remain in control of which properties are managed in Calensi, while avoiding a blank-slate setup.

Bring useful booking data into operations

Once properties are linked, Calensi imports their Lodgify bookings, whether they originate from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, or a direct booking managed in Lodgify.

Arrival and departure dates and times, booking status, cancellations, guest count, and source channel are brought together in one place when Lodgify provides them. Your team no longer needs to move between several calendars to understand which property must be prepared and when.

A schedule updated in real time

The connector continues working after the initial import. Lodgify notifies Calensi when a booking is created, changed, or declined, without waiting for the hourly cycle used by iCal feeds.

Calensi updates the affected booking and can recalculate related housekeeping missions according to each property's rules: check-out time, expected duration, and team organization.

For property managers, the benefit is practical: fewer manual checks, fewer last-minute messages, and less risk of preparing the wrong property at the wrong time.

Give every cleaner a clear mission schedule

Lodgify remains the central system for bookings. Calensi takes over for housekeeping execution.

In Calensi, you can organize missions, propose or assign them to cleaners, track acceptance, and centralize the information needed in the field. Cleaners see their schedule on mobile and can complete the workflow with your checklists and end-of-service photos.

Managers keep the full operational overview while each cleaner sees what is relevant to their work.

Connect Lodgify to Calensi

From the Platforms area in Calensi:

1. choose Lodgify;
2. enter the API key generated in your Lodgify account settings;
3. import all required properties at once, or link existing ones;
4. start the booking import.

Your key is transmitted securely and is no longer displayed after connection.

The connector currently synchronizes information from Lodgify to Calensi. Editing a Lodgify booking directly from Calensi is not yet available.
