Beds24 and housekeeping tasks

The tool’s role

Beds24 is a channel manager and PMS for hotels, B&Bs, hostels and vacation rentals. It synchronizes distribution channels, calendars, rates and bookings in one interface.

Official website

In the tool

Beds24 provides an open API for guest services and partners. Advanced housekeeping teams, assignments and validation remain the role of specialist tools connected through that API.

With Calensi

Calensi uses Beds24 rooms and bookings to create actionable missions: a window between stays, assignment rules, primary and backup Cleaners, escalations and field follow-up.

From the tool to the field

  1. 1

Beds24 receives or updates a booking.

  2. 2

The Version 2 webhook (or periodic reconciliation) notifies Calensi.

  3. 3

Calensi creates or adjusts the mission based on checkout and arrival times.

  4. 4

The Cleaner is assigned and notified; the host follows acceptance, completion and validation.

Direct API

Unlike one iCal feed per room, a single API connection covers the account and distinct bookings, with status, guests and channel when supplied.

What Calensi imports

Rooms: name and available characteristics — each Beds24 room maps to one Calensi property.

Bookings: dates, times, status, channel, guests and amount when supplied.

Cancellations; simple calendar blocks (black) are excluded from missions.

How updates arrive

Beds24 supports a manually configured Version 2 webhook per property, with a secret Custom Header. Calensi provides the URL and header, and keeps periodic reconciliation as a safety net.

Setup

  1. 1

In Beds24, open Marketplace → API, select the read scopes and “Allow linked properties”, then generate an invite code.

  2. 2

Connect Beds24 from Platforms in Calensi by pasting the invite code.

  3. 3

Import or link Beds24 rooms to Calensi properties.

  4. 4

For each Beds24 property, paste the webhook URL and Custom Header (Version 2) provided by Calensi.

Good to know

The connection is read-only: Calensi imports mission data without changing bookings in Beds24. Webhooks are configured once per property.
